Ingredients

For 8 servings

  • 4 large Red bell peppers
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Aleppo pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

Roast red peppers under broiler, turning until charred all over. Place in bowl, cover, and let steam for 15 minutes.

Peel peppers, remove seeds and stems. Pat dry.

Toast walnuts in dry pan until fragrant, about 3 minutes.

In food processor, pulse walnuts until coarsely ground.

Add roasted peppers, breadcrumbs, pomegranate molasses, garlic, and spices.

Process while drizzling in olive oil until you reach desired consistency.
