Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 4 cups Cooked rice
  • 1/2 lb Beef (ground or sliced)

    Use halal-certified beef

  • 4 cups Spinach
  • 2 cups Bean sprouts
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 medium Zucchini
  • 6 pieces Shiitake mushrooms
  • 4 pieces Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Gochujang
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 cloves Garlic

Instructions

Season beef with soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and sugar. Cook and set aside.

Blanch spinach and bean sprouts separately. Season each with sesame oil and salt.

Julienne carrots and zucchini. Sauté separately until tender-crisp.

Slice and sauté mushrooms until golden.

Fry eggs sunny-side up.

Divide hot rice into 4 bowls.

Arrange vegetables and beef in sections on top of rice. Place egg in center.

Serve with gochujang and sesame seeds. Mix everything together before eating.
