Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef

    Use halal-certified beef

  • 2 large Onion
  • 2 slices White bread
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Almonds (slivered)
  • 2 tbsp Chutney
  • 4 pieces Bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

Soak bread in half the milk. Squeeze out and set aside.

Sauté onions until soft. Add curry powder and turmeric.

Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Stir in soaked bread, raisins, almonds, chutney, and lemon juice.

Transfer to a baking dish. Press bay leaves into the top.
