For 4 servings
Use halal-certified beef
Finely chop onion, tomato, green chilies, and cilantro.
Mix ground beef with all vegetables and chopped herbs.
Add crushed coriander seeds, cumin, chili flakes, egg, and chickpea flour.
Season with salt and mix well. Let rest for 15 minutes.
Shape into flat, round patties about 1/2 inch thick.
Press pomegranate seeds into the top of each patty.
Shallow fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
Serve hot with naan, yogurt raita, and fresh salad.
Tip: The patties should be thin and crispy on edges.
