Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 1.5 lbs Ribeye steak

    Use halal-certified beef

  • 4 pieces Hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese
  • 2 large Onion
  • 1 large Green bell pepper
  • 8 oz Mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

Partially freeze steak for easier slicing. Slice very thin against the grain.

Slice onions, peppers, and mushrooms.

Sauté vegetables in butter until soft. Season and set aside.

Heat oil in a flat griddle or skillet until very hot.

Spread steak on griddle. Season with salt and pepper. Chop with spatula as it cooks.
